The #WorldBank, the #UN & the #EU had estimated last February it would cost >$50billion to rebuild #Gaza, & were finalizing a new interim estimate of $70billion in November.

Soccer's governing body #FIFA will also help to raise $75 million for #soccer related projects in Gaza, #Trump said. The #US, #Canada & #Mexico will host the FIFA World Cup later this year.

Trump also said that it looks like #Palestinian militant group #Hamas will disarm. [doubtful]

The war started with the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on southern Israel that killed more than 1,200 people, according to Israeli tallies. Israel's air & ground war in #Gaza has killed >72,000 people since then, according to #Palestinian health ministry data.

This thing about protesting any Israeli expat living and working in the diaspora is getting fucking weird. Never mind the triangle (and red hands) messaging issues, why isn't the same thing happening for Russia, China, or Myanmar's, etc expats? Or Americans for that matter. We suck a lot right now too.
