Mit dem 9-jährigen Python Turtle programmiert. Erstaunlich, was schon geht, obwohl es in der Schule noch nicht dran war...
Jetzt ist er angefixt und will noch mehr "malen".

When migrating my open source projects to @Codeberg I wanted to set up a code + metadata backup like I had for Github.
Sadly I couldn't find anything, but now there is at least something: https://codeberg.org/mathisdt/forgejo-backup
The small tool takes a user and saves all belonging repos locally: code first, but then also pull requests, issues, releases and wiki pages. Finally the metadata of published packages is also saved.
Thoughts and PRs welcome!
#Reticulum is currently written in #Python. I wonder if it's time for a #Rust implementation. :-)

Danke für eure Arbeit. Es ist auch nicht persönlich gemeint und auch sicher die beste Lösung unter den Umständen, ich rege mich jetzt nur über den Zustand der Welt und der IT-Landschaft auf:
"Ein Excel-Tool." 😞
I just had the problem that the seed generator would put out the same seed if the simulations I run take shorter than a second. The best solution I came up with was to wait until there is at least one second between start of the runs😅

Another year of support from #JetBrains providing a free licence for their IDE suite. They have supported the project for 6 years now.
#phpstorm and #pycharm have changed the way I work and made my life a lot easier.
Thanks again for supporting free software @jetbrains

How to absolutely *not* do #OpenSource: require people to commit to work on other issues with your project in order to file bugs. So, sorry, #Typer, I won't be filing bugs. You figure out how you messed up your release yourself.
Also, please don't use #FastAPI. They are clearly bothered by the fact that people dare use their projects and waste their precious time with support requests.

Let's get this straight: it is entirely normal for a #OpenSource project to accumulate bug reports over time. They're not a thing to be ashamed of.
On the contrary, if you see a nontrivial project with a very small number of bug reports, it usually means one of the following:
a. you've hit a malicious fake,
b. the project is very young and it doesn't have many users (so it's likely buggy),
c. the project is actively shoving issues under the carpet.
None of that is a good sign. You don't want to use that (except for b., if you're ready to be the beta tester).

I still have to work out what I want to do with the overlapping path edges... While I don't, moving a bit on Z gives a cool result and avoids the flickering superposition of edges. Find the sketch-a-day archives and tip jar at: https://abav.lugaralgum.com/sketch-a-day
