Is there a database backend in the django.tasks implementation in 6.0 or not?
I see https://github.com/tokibito/django-database-task is that the way to avoid running celery or rabbitmq?

I've been looking into creating a little web application based on #python. It should come with creating basic html widgets so I don't need to deal with javascript sutff and come with SQL-DB connectors.
#Django seemed to fit my need but seems to be a bit big. I've also taken a look at turbogears, but I'm not sure if that project is still alive.
So I'd appreciate any hints thanks.

With news that Discord is moving toward stricter age/ID verification and privacy concerns around this shift, I’m wondering whether Open Source communities like Python and Django should consider alternatives to Discord. 🤔
Platforms like Matrix or Zulip might better respect privacy and freedom of access.
What do you think about a migration away from Discord?
