With explanation:

1. #Jabber/ #XMPP (family and friends are there, also part of my geek bubble)

2. IRC + Matrix (the other part of my geek bubble)

3. DeltaChat (good in theory, but none of my circle has it, also client isn't part of my OS of choice)

@debacle @skippy DeltaChat also isn't good for homelabs, as email generally is blocked on residential IPs.
