Nori Rotterdam, I had a vegan hot chocolate with vegan cream and a fried vegan shrimp sushi roll. The hot chocolate was standard, the whipped cream was very tasty with no aftertaste. The sushi roll luckily didn't taste too much like shrimp (I was a bit worried because I can't eat Penny own vegan brand "Food for Future" prawns), all those fried ones taste pretty similar to me. The vegan shrimp on its own did have a mild sea taste (I just can't chew an entire piece at once, gotta eat each one in at least 3 bites). The roll is creamy because of avocado. Wish I had more time to try other dishes.
Backstage vegan kitchen Rotterdam, a part of a club, so lighting is not the best for food. Had a vegan Korean chicken sandwich which had grilled vegan chicken, vegan bacon, kimchi, and some crisps and salad Olivier (peas, carrots, potatoes, dill) on the side. The sandwich was huge and I had to deconstruct it and eat it with a knife and a fork like every burger ever. The sandwich was very good, but the salad was the best ever. I often make that salad, but it has never turned out this tasty.
And on the train I had an Albert Heijn vegan egg and bacon wrap. Very tasty, reminds me of vegan egg salad from German supermarkets. Most importantly it doesn't taste like turmeric!
