The sweater reknit is officially done now! I'm very happy with how it turned out, I can see myself wearing it a lot!

I knit the sweater after my measurements. The yarn is Drops Baby Alpaca Silk, which is discontinued.

...jacquard also… But the diminutions on the gray part are really uggly, damned. I used 2.25mm needles for the ribs because I didn’t have 2.75, and well, it’s still okay. I loved the paper Dolls pattern shap...

What a quick knit! This sweater has been my project for the christmas break. It's a bit more elegant than my other knitwear so it fills a gap in my wardrobe. It is so soft and airy!

Pair of freshly finished stripey ribbed socks on feet againt a background of terra cotta tiles. The left foot is twisted outward to show the increases for the heel and the tiny dark blue triangle underneath the heel that is the heel turn.

One done and one toe to go. Finished this one on dpn’s which is fiddly. I’ll do the other with magic loop. Finished the toe with the variegated yarn that was mostly white here.

Knitted sock fresh off the needles with a yarn end coming out at the toe. The sock has fine stripes and ‘meta’ stripes where colors blend optically. The colors are a lavenderish purple, shades of green, white and some dark blue. The sock is ribbed except for the sole part that is plain stockinette.

Provisional cast on, because I'm doing it in double knit. No floats on the inside that way. The yarn is very silky merino because sensitive skin. Smooth silky yarn and long floats are a recipe for disaster.
