My first actual knitting project.
The Mobius Prime scarf.
There's a prime number of stitches per row (17) and I put the ends together like a Mobius strip for my math geek of a boy.

I've made progress on Zuurstok, knitting on it during car rides and some evenings of watching TV. It's so strange, though, I can't really tell if that ball of yarn is shrinking 🤔

I have successfully made the scarf that @whangdoodler send me a link for. There are mistakes, as expected, but at least the actual stitches feel a lot less awkward. Not NOT awkward, but much less now.
Socks again.
This was a really quick project, just a bit more than a 3-day-weekend. But they are a bit smaller than usual as my daughter's feet are about 2 sizes smaller than mine.
I bought the yarn on a whim and because I know the dyer, go to knit nights at her shop occasionally. And because I (and my daughter) love rainbows.
My standard sock template with faux cables along the sides. I think they came out great.

I love the pattern "Baa-ble hat" from Donna Smith. It's pretty straight forward to knit and sooo pretty. #knitting

I haven't shared any knitting for a while, partly because the last big project I did I wasn't completely happy with technically.
But this was fun and challenging. I wanted to replace the short row colourwork section of a mitt pattern I had with a different motif - only problem was they weren't the same size. So I smooshed (yes, that's the technical term) two designs together. Which turned out to be harder than I anticipated. It involved spreadsheet calculations and multiple drafts but I'm happy with the result.
The mitt pattern is Short Wave Mitts by Sybil R. (https://knitting-and-so-on.blogspot.com/2012/10/short-wave-mitts.html)
The two motifs are Anemones and Buddlings from Woolie Wormheads book Shirt Row Colourwork.
The yarn is gorgeous New Zealand wool and possum
