Someone using #Mistral.ai for their regular #AI work? How does it perform compared to your experience with other AIs, e. g. #chatgpt, #perplexity or others like that? A first trial gave well results and I like EU-based companies.
@clemensprill Mistral models are limited, compared to the flagship models from Anthropic or Google. But they can accomplish well-defined text jobs like summarizing texts, with occasional glitches and hallucinations. Comparable to GPT 2 years ago. I can live with the glitches, if this means not supporting tech bros.
@dermb I made mixed feelings at the moment but doesn't matter. I will try it out and if it's not too bad (can't be I suspect), I will use that one. Better than support fascism.
