Is there any public group taking care of #Eu #DigitalSovereignty (for what ever it means ?)

Is it part of #CRA requirements ?

I have similar concerns regarding #MsMonopoly on #SecureBoot for #x86 #Computers (#PCs and #Servers).

Are anti concurrency practices also a model threat to you ?

Lot of questions, few answers so far, only implementations with mixed feelings..

Actions speak louder than words.

I am unable to install EU Login app in my phone because I use LineageOS and not the Google Spy Android.

Thus, I cannot use the double factor authentication, mandatory from the 25-02-2026 on unless I tell Google.

A frontal attack to our #privacy.

Stupid, no?

@rzr @matv1 @jdelacueva @EUCommission the EU Login Mobile App should not require any Google services and it should be Open Source - the EU should start acting according to its own values and mission statement instead of preaching #digitalsovereignty but practising the contrary.

I'm involved in some discussion in this matter. The short answer is that the app is not mandatory: one can use other factors. However, I only heard of few people that have figured out how to use the alternative factors.

developer verification gives more central control to alphabet inc.

third party app installs are still possible in modified android systems.

relying on closed platforms is a bad idea.
