Edit: I've had lots of wonderful people impart their knowledge and spark curiosity about science. This is all still very new to me but we're learning and that's good! azarigani_dancing

Hello chemists and physicists of Mastodon!

In my next assignment I have to create a 3D image of a molecule (which I've done) and then I have to label this molecule where we might find H-bonding and London forces. Just one example of each.

I think I understand H-bonding, but when it came to studying London forces I just hoped it wouldn't come up.

Well. It has.

I don't understand London forces at all so I have no idea how to even attempt to label a bond as a London force or not. Is it not all of the bonds? At the moment I just have to randomly guess...
