Can't recommend this enough: David F. Walker and Marcus Kwame Anderson's "The Black Panther Party, A Graphic Novel History." Well-researched and written, won a 2022 Eisner Award (and I think Will would have loved it). It's a complicated history. So many names from my childhood whose actions have largely been forgotten/ignored.

The Black Panthers are back on the streets in Philly.

I know I would feel exponentially safer in a neighborhood where they are active.
