#AudioEngineer I have the weirdest situation. I use an UMC1820 with a Focusrite Octopre MKII Dynamic.
Both worked together under Linux, until they didn't: The Locked light wasn't shining anymore and no signal came from the pre.
I connected the interface to a Win PC, also, no Locked LED and no sound from the pre.
But: When I set the Focusrite to Internal clock and the UMC to OpticalIn so that the pre gives the clock to the UMC, then the devices are locked and I get sound from the pre to my DAW.
Is the UMC broken? What am I doing wrong?

@frigginglorious Which DAW can be adapted to your own wishes and taste like Reaper #DAW? Take a look on the website and in the user forum. There are skins that make #Reaper look like Abelton or Logic.

There are many free skins, addons and scripts for Reaper.
