It worked after me #rtfm and using the #commandline:
bluetoothctl scan le and
bluetoothctl connect
Still not sure what the problem was in the first place. Does my machine even use the newly compiled #bluez? How do I find out?
Any suggestions where to file a bug? In my opinion, wireless midi should just work in any #linuxaudio distribution.

Trying to use #BLE-MIDI devices on @ubuntustudio and they won't even connect. Searching the web suggested that #bluez (the #Bluetooth Stack) by default is built without #MIDI enabled and you have to recompile it with --midi-enable. But these howtos are all a few years old.
Does anyone in the #linuxaudio community know if this is still the case? How can I find out if bluez is built with or without BLE MIDI?

Wollte nur etwas auf die Flexibilität und Anpassungsfähigkeit von #Reaper aufmerksam machen. Und die Community ist super. 🎶
Kleine Info am Rande. Falls Du Windows Plugins in Linux nutzt, dann würde ich #Bottles empfehlen. Es hat viele Vorteile, als wenn man Wine direkt in Linux installiert. Fuktioniert auch einwandfrei mit #Yabridge.
@NUND @henry_null Ich habe mich jetzt in Ardour rein gearbeitet und komme damit ganz gut zurecht. Wenn ich jetzt meine DAW wechsle, benötige ich wieder Zeit zum lernen. Die fehlt mir dann bei der Musik (ist mir schon häufiger passiert, das ich zu viele Tools teste). Aber vielleicht ist es ja für andere Leute eine Option. Auf jeden Fall vielen Dank für den Tipp!

Reaper kann 60 Tage ohne Einschränkungen kostenlos getestet werden. Es lässt sich mit Skins, Addons & Scripts total an die eigenen Wünsche anpassen. Kostenlose Skins & Erweiterungen gibts auf der Website und im Userforum. Reaper lässt sich auch portable auf einen Stick installieren und überall mitnehmen.
Die DAW kostet nur 60 Dollar.

Ich nutze aktuell Logic aber hatte in letzter Zeit immer wieder den Gedanken, dass das mit MacOS zusammen ja sehr abhängig ist von Apple und USA. Da dachte ich Ableton wäre dann vielleicht was langfristig, dann halt auf Linux (sehr grobe entfernte Gedanken bisher). Aber darauf, dass das gar nicht unter Linux laufen könnte bin ich gar nicht gekommen...😅
