I finished my quilt! It took over six months and is entirely hand sewn from scraps and remnants. The backing is a pale blue duvet cover (I think, it was a weird bit of thrift store fabric) and the 'batting' is an old, stained cotton sofa covering. I embellished it with a crocheted doily from the thrift store.

For today's #DecembArt post, I'm sharing an old project that was also tasty: candy made to look like a cross section of a cell.
Wir nähern uns dem Ende des #ArtAdventCalendar , heute ist schon Türchen 22 dran!
Das ist vom Fotocamp #HerbstlichT25 in der sächsischen Schweiz, konkret vom Ausflug zu den Tyssaer Wänden auf der anderen Seite der Grenze. Saukalt, und ich Depp hatte die Handschuhe zu hause gelassen. Viele Bilder habe ich nicht machen können, weil ich ernstlich um die Gesundheit meiner Finger besorgt war, bei 3°C, eisigem Nebel und schneidendem Wind. Aber ein paar gute waren meiner Meinung nach doch dabei. Irgendwie kam ich nur noch nicht dazu, die mal alle durchzugehen... Vielleicht was für die Zeit zwischen den Feiertagen.
