They say shoot for the moon, but I know it's not really recommended for night sky photography. I tried it anyway for curiosity's sake.

A night time shot with a moon so bright it looks like a sun. The stars are still visible, and there is a faint glow on the horizon either from sunset or city lights. A bit of landscape is visible with some trees and mountains, as well as some lights from a nearby town on the left.

Their head and shoulders are visible and their attention is fixed on something interesting off camera to the left. Its probably a kangaroo rat; they're always teasing the pumas.
