In 1819, James Everard Home formally described the first Ichthyosuarus, Proteosaurus, now Temnodontosaurus.

In 1821, Henry De la Beche and William Conybeare formally named Ichthyosaurus

In 1974, after an extensive search, C. McGowan reported the initial specimen lost.

Lego hat inzwischen zu viele neue Teile. Und die liegen alle in einer großen Kiste. Also wird jetzt der komplette Legofundus neu sortiert. Das wird ein weilchen dauern.

Vllt wäre auch eine Waschmaschine sinnvoll.
