Sketchbook with drawings of the inside nose of the machine, showing exploded disassembly of the tension mechanism so I can put it back together again. Many parts are numbered or lettered, corresponding to an array of little bins out of frame where each one is stored.

Nose of the machine with the plate off. The needle bar, presser bar, bar lifter, take up arm, and tension assembly have been removed, but a round wheel with a smaller offset bearing on it (that drives the needle bar) is still in there, taunting me

Ornate engraving on the front plate, with stylized flowers and leaves. Half is a dark army green, the other is shiny bright grey where I’ve cleaned it. If you can believe it, the dark army green was a similar improvement over how bad it was before, but resulted from a toothbrush and oil rather than power tools. In the blurry background, said dremel, fitted with a toroidal scrubbie.
