To my #repair bubble: Where can I get adjustment screwdrivers (slit and phillips) made from PLASTIC? Non-magnetic, non-conducting ones. For adjusting trimmers in CRTs, adjusting tape heads and the like?

Socken stopfen leicht gemacht mit dem Schlingstich / Darning socks made easy with the buttonhole stitch
My illustration for the »Weimarer Adventskalender« from 2024. And of course the topic of my illustration is again: Sustainability.
Some years ago I started to learn how to repair my clothes by myself. I own a large collection of woolen socks made by my grandma, each pair is prettier than the other. How could I throw them away, just because they had some holes? So I learned different repearing techniques, and tried around a lot. And I think, that using the buttonhole stitch is a very easy and durable technique to stuff holes in your socks.
Repairing clothes for me is one of the most meditative and satisfying activities. Now in winter I always have holes somewhere in my clothes and I just enjoy sitting on the couch, listening to an audiobook, darning and mending. And I feel a deep satisfaction when I once more have managed to repair an item of clothing and can use it a little longer (a tiny victory against capitalism).
By the way it is also a great activity to do with friends together. Sitting together, chatting and darning is not only for grandmas, my grandma says.
So I hope, with my instruction you’ll soon be able to repair your socks by yourself. And maybe you’ll have as much fun as I do.

Any simple suggestions on replacing C1 in this circuit?
What value capacitor(?) it is? Or likely to be?
C1 selected as possible fault on basis of possible magic smoke residues.
Board is from an artificial Christmas tree with optic fibre tipps in the foliage.
The green LEDs will now only flash for <0.5 seconds very very infrequently.
I have a multimeter and a soldering iron.

In the interests of fun, clothes that fit, and doing things that help me relax, I have bought 4 metres of needle cord cotton and plan to make this pattern. I need work clothes and can so rarely find things that fit. I will try to toot my progress as I can. Excited about this project. I will endeavour to use every scrap of the fabric as I very rarely buy new. #sewing

I successfully replaced the USB-C port on my Thinkpad without breaking anything, and think I levelled up a bit in soldering.

Elvira's House of Horrors developed an odd issue. One of the most important shots in the game, the center ramp that leads into the house at the back of the playfield diverts to the wrong place at random.
There's a motor driven diverter, that either directs the ball to the left into left orbit, or right into a ramp behind the backboard, where the ball is kept by a post when the mode animations play. The game software was very confused at times when the ball ended up in a wrong place, making some modes like Gappa Angry impossible to play.
Tapping the playfield the problem was pretty obvious. The upper limit switch was firing like crazy from any vibration. When the game isn't sure where the diverter is, it just stops using it.
At first it seemed like a loose wire, but it was actually loose center leg of the switch! And here I had hoped for a one minute quick soldering fix.
I replaced the switch with a roller micro that I had plentiful. Saved me from bending the wire in the new one. This seems to have taken care of the issue, tapping would not freak out the switch any more and the test game went without issues.
