aus einem recht runden büschel hellgrünen mooses sprießen drei bis vier sammelfruchtkörper eines pilzes. die sind dunkelgrau bis schwarz, haben hier im bild aber aufgrund der lichtverhältnisse einen leichten grünstich. ihre form ist kolben- oder spindelförmig, manchmal sagt man auch walzenförmig, die drei die hier gut im bild sind laufen oben alle spitz zu, was eher ungewöhnlich ist. zusammen mit der stark schrumpeligen oberfläche lässt das auf trockenheit schließen
