📸🏛️ In 1838, inventor Louis Daguerre created what historians believe to be the first photo featuring humans when he captured a busy #Paris boulevard using his daguerreotype process.

The 10-minute exposure time meant moving people disappeared from the image, but one man getting his boots shined stood still long enough to become permanently recorded in photographic #history.
