Ich hab gestern die KI mal gefragt welche aktuellen Notebooks für mich in Frage kommen würden, da ich aktuell überlege mir neben meinem Gaming PC einen anzuschaffen.

• max 17mm dick (zugeklappt) damit es in meinen Laptop Ständer passt
• lange Akkulaufzeit
• leise im Betrieb
• helles Display (mindestens 400 Nits)

Starting to believe that “moving fast” in professional environments is actually just “delay this problem for someone else to deal with in the future”.

Context: I’ve been helping oversee an email service provider (ESP) migration for an enterprise org (1,000+ people).

Every other day we find unexpected issues that were caused by someone trying to save time and move quickly in the past. And we have to spend the time those people supposedly saved in the past by fixing their issues now, in their future.

No time was actually saved, folks. It was an illusion.

OpenAI employees pushed for the company to inform Canadian police about a user they thought would engage in real-world violence months before the person did just that, killing eight people in a horrific attack in Tumbler Ridge.

The company only reached out to police after the shooting had occurred.
