A European Robin perched on a snow-covered branch during winter. It features the characteristic orange-red face and breast, a brown back, and a pale underbelly. The tree limbs are heavily coated in thick, white snow. Underneath the snow, some of the branches show patches of green moss, providing a nice textural contrast. The background is a dense, intricate web of frozen branches. Many of them are encased in glaze ice (clear ice from freezing rain), which gives the scene a crystalline, shimmering quality. The color palette is dominated by whites, soft greys, and muted browns, which makes the robin’s orange breast pop as the primary point of color.
