Thanks for the support! Funny thing I wanted to plug here: I've never received comments like that here on the Fediverse 
, but I get dozens of them, weekly, on the Meta platforms (Facebook/Instagram)...
I'm really grateful for how this community checks artists' work and actually verifies it's real human art before throwing random accusations.
This is my favorite place to share for a reason. 💜

Also: If someone sees your "making of" videos and all the Krita videos then it is quite hard to think that your stuff could be AI.

@dagaz Thank you. Maybe I should make also other type of content: reboot my livestreams, post more short videos of drawing on paper, etc...

I have my doubts. It's not just the drawing. Just getting a grasp of modern problems mixed with fantasy RPG theme is totally creative for me. Those who ignore all of that now will most likely do so regardeless later on. I think many just see boosted strips and not the other stuff.
I also like the other stuff an forwarded some of your videos to a friend (@KathyKahner). She mostly draws with good old tools like pen&paper. So I thought it might come in handy for her (maybe some time in the future) to get a glimpse of what someone could do with Krita.
Although I suck at drawing (i'm in awe of your skills!), I am still fascinated about the workflow in digital Art.
(But most of all I really like this #miniFantasyTheater strips.)
@davidrevoy I mean I would HOPE people would need a real smoking gun to say that YOUR art is AI. I mean a lot of MFT is Anti-AI, so that would be random if it was made with AI.
Either way it's usually better to question, but not accuse when it comes to AI I think. Unless it is very much egregiously AI than it's better not to just throw accusations.
At least in this comic the vibe I get is just wanting to be a critic and not actually appreciating art though.

Ici, tu postes un contenu IA, t'as la Fedi-police qui défonce ta porte d'entrée avec un bélier (un bélier furry, hein, faut pas oublier qu'on est sur le fediverse)

This may be the pinnacle of the whole artists getting paid in "exposure" meme. Your art style is literally everywhere, yet what you get out of that is pain 🤬
That may be the difference between an audience of enthusiasts and an audience of consumers.
@davidrevoy you'd have to be an idiot to still be using the Meta platforms as a non-creator*, so it makes sense that so many wouldn't be able to tell the difference between your wonderful work and slop.
* I understand creators and brands need to stay on there for their livelihoods. I wish they didn't, but I wouldn't call artists needing to make a living "idiots."

@davidrevoy je ne me suis jamais posé la question parce que je connais ton travail depuis des années. Aucune idée de si je me la poserais si je le découvrais aujourd'hui 😐 Ceci dit, j'essaye toujours de faire bien gaffe avant de dire que quelque chose me semble fait par IA, et je mets les formes possibles quand j'ai un doute.
@davidrevoy Also I ran out of characters, but really good comic. Glad to see Cepper and Parrot again (Not that the other comics were bad of course I just like the Cepper and Parrot series).

I'm used to avoid AI slop, and my reaction to the image 1 was “AI gen”. I even closed the image, and then saw the title “Authenticity Problem,” it made me doubt myself. I reopened the image, read the comic, and then watched the timelapse, which confirmed that it was indeed your work and not AI.
And now I can’t even imagine what it must be like for you. Hang in there, and great work despite everything!

On the contrary. Thanks to you! It made me wonder how many images I’ve quickly closed just because they were “AI,” when they actually weren’t...
And on top of that, it seems you’re a FOSS advocate and a Krita user (and maybe Blender, if I understand correctly).
So clearly, I would have missed out on an opportunity, especially since I’m trying again to get into Krita, among other foss.
Et aparemment vous êtes français en plus. Haha.

Well... Sometime an artistic content has its own life in the hand of users; I hope the audience can see and find the source that it is not really the message the author wanted to convey.

@bassistance If you mean the comic, just check on my website: on the footer I always share a high resolution, the Krita source, the text separated on a transparent PNG or PDF and the comic with just the artworks too.
