nterior Secretary Doug Burgum would not commit to removing President Donald Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center on Sunday, despite a judge’s order requiring it to be done within two weeks.
“I’m not sure if that’s going to be appealed or not, but I think, you know, there’s controversy on both sides of this about that ruling,” Burgum said on CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union” when asked if the name would be removed.
@jonesmurphy Trumps legacy will be zilch compared to JFK. Was talking to a friend who lives in Washington DC.. Said he feels ill every time he passes the Kennedy Centre seeing Trumps name there 😪
@Spiros455 Trump is rolling back JFK's legacy in numerous ways. The most dangerous way is the attack by Trump and Republicans, led by their Supreme Court majority, on the Civil Rights laws aggressively advocated by JFK in alliance with MLK. A major collapse in democracy has already happened in the USA. If this continues, Trump will significantly erase JFK'S legacy and Make America Great Again at Nazi eugenics, segregation and inbreeding.
