Swans - Deliquescence (2017)

Swans is my #1 favorite band of all time, and one of the best parts of their discography is their live albums. you really can't say that about a lot of the bands, because usually live albums are ignored, but listening to at least one live album of theirs is a must for anyone who appreciates this project for what it is. Swans Are Dead alone took their older songs and drastically reworked them and improved them. Live Rope made me hyped for their next album even though i rarely do feel this kind of hype really. so yeah, i decided to listen to this one, and it's great. a lot of the songs played were from The Glowing Man, and unfortunately I just haven't listened to the album enough to appreciate the live version of the songs, but it was still very enjoyable. but the highlight is undeniably the live version of The Glowing Man, oh god.

yeah now i'm not a furry or anything but this goes hard. like it's genuinely a cool album i fw. Sludge and The Wallflower Equation especially really surprised me, like how did they pull this off 😭 this is the kind of music that is probably for hazbin hotel fans typeof more than anything, but whatever, it's good
