google has decided that the gmail.com account I have had for two decades does not exist.

I'm logged into it. I can send mail.

Sending mail to that account results in "This account does not exist."

Just me, or are others seeing weirdness?

(ETA: it's just me, sigh. Bloody Google. I want my tickets on my phone!)
