let's talk channels in #meshcore

• always flood all messages through the mesh

• public channels are not encrypted

• hashtag channels are encrypted with a hash of the channel name

• private channels are encrypted with a shared secret

• no forward secrecy, assume even private channel packets getting recorded and can be decrypted back in time after getting hands on shared secret

• in contrast to private messages, channel messages do not provide a way to verify sender, name prefixed to text
