Don't fall for the clickbait. #Hetzner raises prices significantly for dedicated and virtual servers, starting 2026-04-01, but it's not the often claimed 36%.
I did the math based on the numbers at https://docs.hetzner.com/general/infrastructure-and-availability/price-adjustment/
Average: 26%, minimum 16,4%, maximum 36,5%. So yes, a significant jump. But not as simple as 36% everywhere.

These are my calculations based on the same document. I think it makes more sense to have averages at least for cloud vs. dedicated, as the cost model is somewhat different. I left out the auction servers.
@jwildeboer My numbers are a little different because Hetzner seems to have changed the price table between this morning and now. I did the maths for our article too.
Looking at my excel and raw data, and at the current URL, they seem to have changed the prices after first sending them out. The CAX11, for example, was listed at (old: 3.92) 5.34 EUR per month, and that's where the 36% price increase stems from. People just took the first value in the list and went "ah, good enough."
