I’m not “in denial” about AI. I see it where I work, I hear about it from my coworkers who use it, the extra work it causes and the problems they run into, the wrong assumptions it makes.

I see the impacts on communities, the environment, politics, and artists.

I see the impending bubble burst and economic collapse.

I see just recently how an AI system erroneously took down AWS to rebuild the environment. I see how an AI output insults about human programmers. I see how it’s being used to generate images of assault, including against children.

Any time saved in using it is blood money.
