I'm appalled by the nonsense upon stilts released by #fossilFuel apologists who claim that #coal and #gas were a necessity for the #economy, whereas the exact opposite is true and our unwillingness to switch to cheap #renewables will bring a catastrophe of biblical proportions upon us when agricultural land disappears on a vast scale.
