My #ThinkPad T460 with an Intel i5-6300U has the strangest CPU problem. With speedstep enabled, it randomly hard-freezes when transitioning from a high-power-state to a low-power state. With speedstep disabled, it's even more strange.

When putting the system to suspend via GUI, all good. When suspending the system by closing the lid: hardware limits: 400 MHz - 800 MHz. And it literally runs at 800MHz.
