Here'a short comparison with the Unicomp Mini M. It has the same layout, but a completely different plastic case and membrane assembly buckling springs.

Typing on the Model F SSK is very satisfying, the actuation force is just perfect. The case feels very good and has a very good weight.

Enabling the solenoid is just something completely different. It is such a brutal loud sound, I can't stop laughing because it's so absurd. It makes me feel like typing on a 1960's IBM typewriter. Very cool, but I can't keep up my usual WPM. I also think my neighbors might hate me soon.

I’ve seen other solenoids on keyboards such as the clunker (https://mechwild.com/product/clunker/) - they all look like miniatures in comparison with this chonker! 😆

The module is connected to a driver PCB which is powered with 5V by the main keyboard controller. The solenoid gets initialized when the keyboard is connected to the USB port. What you’ll hear is a very little taste of the hellish noise the keyboard can cause.

I would love to experience this thing even if I struggle to justify purchasing one. The all metal casing seems to be absolutely massive. The solenoid should just add about the most brutally satisfying audio-tactile feedback.

Unfortunately some keycaps were screwed during shipping. But boy - I never saw so thick and high quality keycaps. Pretty good feeling.

It took my something around 2 hours to read the manual and follow the steps. You’ll need to check the layout and springs before attaching the keycaps. A lot of common issues and appropriate fixes are documented.
