I started writing up about how I finally enabled SSH on my Kobo + Android phone to enable file syncing and break out of the "you're no access to your files, just use the app" cycle and I realised... I'm pretty sure nobody would care. It's not hard in either case, you can search how, and if you're that bothered you've probably just found a simpler work around. Kobo storage is mountable over USB (but ssh is wireless) and Android photos can be uploaded to Immich using the immich app in the browser.
