@maypop_neocities @evacide @mshelton you're telling me! Same pains. I learned all of this to teach activists better security practices and found myself alone in the dark 🕶️. Then I reached the concept that you'd have to be an advanced technician to continue the upkeep and debugging of the opensource app alternatives. So I just started rebuilding my entire circle of more security minded tech savvy people. Its not going well.
