Today it was my own windows' turn. My vision gradually became blurry and I saw a zigzag pattern appearing in my eyes. Ocular migraine.

With an ocular migraine or migraine aura, a wave of altered electrical activity (CSD) sweeps across the visual cortex (at the back of the head).

It starts as a small spot and gradually expands into an arc of jagged lines with bright colors of blue, pink, yellow, white, and black.

The visual cortex processes information in "tiles/columns," making edges appear geometric.

I always try to draw exactly what I see, but you can't focus properly. The image also changes over time. After an hour, it's gone. Fortunately for me it doesn’t come with a headache.
