Ok, so, getting linux laptops into the hands of younger people is going to require a bit of infrastructure in terms of being able to offer and direct them to support.
The new UI also, hope, should not be overly challenging.
For support access, my suspicion in that, in London, they're most likely able to access help for Ubuntu running gnome.
Consensus on UI seems to be that Mint is easier.
So, fedi, I'm soliciting your linux opinions. For non-tech noobs who just want to do their homework and surf the internet, is Mint actually easier? Is there much support out there?
