Well, three months after having never heard of #Ubuntu or coded anything in decades, I've got my first little #Python app finished (a Fibonacci visualizer rendered via the Tkinter GUI toolkit—hopelessly unskilled but ceaseless math geek here) on an ancient reanimated MacBook I call 'Skelator-the-Benevolent', and I'm about to promote it as my first & tryout source/app on #github

Any thoughts or advice for one contemplating the ice-water plunge into first-time source code exposure?
