Ending day 6 of no cannabis. After being a heavy smoker for the past number of years, this has been substantially easier than I expected (I quit cigarettes 6 years ago so I know how bad it could be) The cold sweats are much more manageable.. and outside of the habit of wanting to smoke at times.. I’m feeling pretty good! I’m sleeping okay now surprisingly and not feeling any irritability or anxiety.
I *needed* a break because it was just getting too damn expensive, especially with my high tolerance, and though in some aspects it helps my day to day, it was also hindering it in other ways. I’m also noticing my TMJ has improved a bit (likely with the inflammation reducing).
My initial goal was to take a break just in January and while I’ll definitely smoke weed again, my new goal is to reduce to just casual smoking moving forward.
I’m also day 3 no coffee. This was to help with the sleep and night sweats (which I believe has helped!)
Anyways, feeling proud of myself 😁
