Guy that I worked with was on assignment in St. Louis. Parked his car in the then levee parking lot (on the bricks below the Arch where steamboats once parked; after the Arch grounds renovation it no longer exists). One day mid morning his boss rushed the team to the airport for a meeting and dinner in Dallas. When he came back the next day the Corps had raised the level of the Mississippi 6 ft and his car was underwater 😳. 1/2
