I should absolutely go to Edinburgh today.
Yes its cold and there will be a lot of hanging about in the cold. Edinburgh will be busy as always, especially since its Christmas Market time. Since my bus route has changed, I wouldn't need to leave the house until 10 instead of the usual 9. I could always get a taxi home from the station tonight instead of hanging around Dundee for an hour.
The show at Edinburgh Playhouse is sold out, I couldn't get my usual end of row seat, which isn't great for my shoulder since I will be squished between people. I've had a lot of bad experiences at the Playhouse, most of the time with the staff, but since my mood has been a lot better lately, I feel I can cope with that. Plus, I get a seat to myself on the train home, so that is always good to destress, the food and drink on the train is a bonus! Although there is the lingering worry that the weather worsens throughout the day and the trains get disrupted so I will have to plan another way home.
I have also been really excited about this show since I booked it and there are no plans for it to be on in Scotland again anytime soon, that I know of. I did check that yesterday, otherwise I would just say nah and book the show at another time. I have watched the trailer on repeat for the past 10 minutes which does make me excited for it.
My health will absolutely flare up for days after this and I will need lots of recovery time since the cold is really not my friend. I will also only be able to take one stick with me today, lots of walking but with the shoulder problems, I can't use two sticks just now. Not ideal, but it is what it is, I have time to take it very slowly.
So decisions, decisions.......I will decide once I have thrown myself into the shower.
Heres the trailer for you all to enjoy!
