Framing @leah 's art 🖼️
I got inspired by the spruce trees in the picture, so the frame is made from spruce wood.
The photo print in the finished frame on a white wall. The print shows a mountain landscape with a winding path leading from the foreground over a soft green meadow towards a wooden hut in the background, seamed left and right with dark green spruce trees. In the background grey, rough-looking, rocky mountains are towering over the meadow, and the blue sky is half covered with white clouds.
One side of the rabbetted spruce board is being cut at a 45° angle with a handplane on its side on a shooting board with an angled fence.
One of the long spruce boards is held in the front vice of the workbench, and one of its edges is getting a rabbet / rebate with a hand plane. The floor below is covered in long curly plane shavings.
