I think the fact that The Kids come up equipped and ready to call bullshit on the adults of their time now is an incredible and positive feat of our species. In the 90's and aughts I knew, with my half-formed brain, that wall street and the capitalism-worship of the 80s was utter bull. And now I'm talking to 20yos who can barely cook yet but know, fully & correctly, that fast, car-centric cities and full-time jobs are horsehockey.
