I want to quit discord with my small peer group of casual gamers.
Must have list is small, but must have:
- Screen sharing/streaming
- Group voice that is easy to enter
- Group chat rooms with topics
- shows online status
- easy to use, mostly bug free, non crashing cross platform client
- free server hoster exist, and have minimal configuration effort.
Bonus points for:
- showing the game someone is in

After a few days of discussions search and feedback, I think the best fitting tools as #discord #replacement for my use case are
- #stoat chat
- #fluxer app
- #jami .net
All have advantages and disadvantages.
I will start testing those with my #gamer peer group and report back in detail.
