This is a real timelapse video of the Moon transiting in front of the Earth.
It was captured by the Artemis 1 Orion spacecraft in November 2022 while flying at it's furthest point from the Earth. The video covers about 3.75 hours of real time.
Like two marbles on black velvet, the Earth and the Moon are seen in against the blackness of space. Both worlds are lit about 60% from the left side. The Moon appears slightly larger than Earth and is moving from left to right across the Earth which gets completely covered until it reappears on the other side.
