Just ordered a #homeassistant 'green' as a late Christmas gift for myself. We already have a bunch of 'smart' light fixtures (with proprietary app) that I want to switch over. A smart outlet will replace the (cloud based) #laundrify device that monitor the washing machine.

Finally there is a capable and compatible #FOSS solution to play with. No cloud, no AI, no vendor lock-in. All thanks to #matter and HA. Really exited.
