10/n Time for a sight-seeing break! I had a 52-minute (ahem, 46-minute) layover at Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof, so I took advantage and went geocaching. It's an absolutely gorgeous day!

Einrichtung im Jahr 2012 anlässlich der 25-jährigen Amterpartnerschaft zwischen dem Stadtmessungsamt Stuttgart und dem Service de l'Information Geographique Strasbourg.
It also shows an image of what looks like satellites circling the earth.
Memorial to Dr. Eugen Bolz. It's a bronze sculpture of a man who seems sort of half-trapped in a wall. His hands are shiny from where people have touched him. Above him is what looks like a hook for hoisting heavy things with a crane, on a steel beam. Above that a hand making the gesture that you make when you swear an oath.
The Pavillion on Palace Square. It is very ornate and people are chilling inside. Behind it is a tall Christmas tree and a shopping mall in neoclassic style.
View of Stuttgart's Palace Square. Main eye catchers are a 30 meter high column with a statue of the Roman Goddess Concordia on top (Jubiläumssäule) and an equally tall ferris wheel next to it. In the background is the palace, with hills behind it. In the foreground is grass with people on benches and strolling around. Sky is blue and sun is shining.
