I rarely have photos of these, but they have a large number of trained birds of prey at Poing. And they got to fly around with the keepers/instructors every day. I like how those majestic birds can have an extremely derpy and a very regal version of themselves. :D

I especially love the awesome neck feathers of the golden eagles in the sun. These were taken while they were in their "roosts" and at that very close to the camera so all I can get is very zoomed shots because I hate having fences on photos if that can be avoided.

Very unnerving to see a huge eagle right above you suddenly go into predator mode and lean way forward. Turns out it was looking at something else, whew.
