Less welcome news from Carrie at @alpenglow, sadly: the business is shutting up shop, with a stock clearance sale now on.
Hopefully not the end of Carrie's excellent projects, though - I've loved seeing those over the years.

Rather late #Hackster round-up to start this week, 'cos my eldest wanted the desktop to play with some friends so I took the opportunity get some stuff done offline.
First up, a device from @bikerglen that turns any MIDI control surface into a fast-boot soundbox for live or streaming shows.

DeepComputing's announced its third-generation #RISCV Mainboard for Framework Laptop 13 bodies (or standalone use as a #SingleBoardComputer) - this time with an RVA23-compliant processor.
Well, half its 16 cores are RVA23. The other half are RVA22 and dedicated for... well, let's just say a specific and currently-very-popular workload.
Some #science next, with the warning that affordable mmWave radar sensors could mean attackers (and employers) monitoring your stress and fatigue levels without you knowing - unless you deploy "camouflage" to spoof your heart rate.
It's #Hackster round-up time! First up is another *fantastic* project from @ancientjames: an "digital iris" for interchangeable-lens cameras which lets you control - and even animate - the bokeh using an LCD.
Confused? Imagine seeing out-of-focus highlights as spinning cogs... or a playable (ish) game of Doom.
