The AEI is in panic because only 61% of 12th grade girls say they want to get married as of 2023 compared to 83% in 1993. Maybe it's because the very people the AEI is championing want a society where motherhood is frowned on and women are denied equal pay for equal work. Support motherhood? Join the movements for unions, #MedicareForAll, #Housing for all, and #BasicIncome so people can afford to get married and have kids. #1u

Medical debt is a policy choice. To eliminate poverty, we must pass a bill for #MedicareForAll. In the meantime, we must build stronger unions so that in the meantime, people can afford health insurance, and we must restore the ACA subsidies. It can all be paid for by taxing the rich. https://rooseveltinstitute.org/roosevelt-rundown/medical-debt-is-a-policy-choice/?utm_campaign=institute20251114&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_content=rundown20251114 #1u
