More than three-quarters of urban Peruvians support LGBTIQ+ rights and disapprove of candidates who use discourses of hate as an electoral strategy, according to a recent survey.
Conducted by Ipsos and the NGO Más Igualdad #Perú, the survey reveals a high level of public support for respecting sexual orientation and gender identity rights as well as legal recognition for families consisting of single-sex parents.
