This 1956 VW Beetle is a time machine. Always garaged. The current owners have had it around 20 years, bought from little old lady so low mileage. The interior is all intact and original, even the seats aren't cracked. It's been washed twice in 20 years. Just amazing!
It was Erik's big debut! We were literally screwing the last few bits on him the night before. He still has an oil leak, hopefully get onto that this weekend.
But he was hugely popular and had lots of people come check him out. People were even interested in Frank, I've never had so many compliments about him!
They are both painted Mars Red, and we discovered there's variances in VAGs Mars Red from the 70's to the 80's.

We took Frank and Erik to a car show on Sunday. It's a big one, we took Harry last year and there were hundreds of cars. It's a British and European show, so sorry Roger the Rabbit, you can't go.
